Facebook has really became a trend setter these days. Every now and then we see some cool geeky stuff on Facebook that we all look forward to publish same to flaunt among our friend. To be honest there are lots of such stuff at Facebook one of these stuff is posting blank status message.

So after doing a long research on this area. I am going share with you How to Post Blank Status Messages on Facebook“.

Why or Where to Use Blank Status Messages on Facebook:

Before heading onto to the actual topic about posting blank status messages I would like to list down the situations wherein we could use these blank status messages.

  • You can use blank status messages when you have nothing to say.
  • You could also use blank status messages when you just want to receive comments from your friends.
  • You could also post blank status messages when you want to flaunt being a Geek among your friends.

Steps to Post a Blank Status Update on Facebook

Please follow below steps to post a Blank Status Update on Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook.com and sign in.
  2. Now simply hold ALT key on the keyboard and type 0173 while holding the alt key.
  3. Now release the ALT key.
  4. After releasing the Alt key, click post update button.

So that’s it, if you also want to post a blank comment repeat the same steps listed above for comments.

Note:After doing some research I came to know that there are also some other ways for posting blank status messages. So, if the above mentioned trick has not worked for you can use the below tricks also.

Trick 1:

  • Type @[2:space] and instead of space press the space key and click post update button.

Trick 2:

  • You can also use alt + 0160 and the click post update button.
