These extensions are pretty useful, usually people have to install separate applications to do the job which often cost quite a lot for the license.

Chrome YouTube Downloader looks the best one to me. It fits into the design of YouTube much better than the rest.

Exactly Jake. But, Chrome YouTube Downloader will only restrict you to download YouTube videos.
